Site C Inquiry Process
The BCUC’s Site C Inquiry will follow a two-stage process to address the government’s directions in Order-in-Council (OIC) No. 244. A panel of commissioners has been appointed to carry out the inquiry.
The first phase consists of fact gathering that will inform a preliminary report. Data and analysis relevant to the scope described in OIC 244 has been submitted for consideration and the preliminary report will be published on September 20.
In the second phase, the panel will continue its open and transparent public consultation processes with a series of Community Input Sessions across the province. At these sessions, the panel will present the findings in the preliminary report, and invite public comments. The panel’s final report will be published on November 1.
